The vital district at the Seelhorst in Hanover-Mittelfeld has its own public market: the "Farmer's Market at the Willow Church". It is organized by the Förderverein Bauernmarkt Hannover eV Since September 29, 2022, seasonal products from the region can be bought every Thursday from 14 p.m. to 18 p.m. in front of the “Pflegequartier an der Weide” on Hannelore-Kunze-Straße.
The following stands will be there:
Backstube Bundschuh: baked goods (flour from our own grain cultivation)
Bauer Banse: milk, quark, yoghurt, mozzarella
Vegetable farm Heidmann: vegetables, eggs and potatoes
Hedda's farmer's shop: Meat and sausages from turkeys raised without medication
Henner's: Homemade pork meat and sausages
Hermanns: tomatoes, cucumbers and peppers
Hof Hennies: free range eggs, pasta, flour
Neulandhof Runge: pork, beef and chicken
Orchard Hahne: berries, stone and pome fruit, juices, wine, honey
With small activities on the fringes of the market events, the farmers' market should also be a new place for encounters in the district.
