In order to support Russian- and Turkish-speaking parents in informing their children about their alcohol consumption, the youth protection of the state capital Hanover has published the brochure "Talking about alcohol - what parents and educators should know" in Russian and Turkish. The brochure is also available in German and in simple language.
In our society, alcohol is “simply a part of it” for many people on certain occasions. Parents are important contacts and role models for their children. This brochure is intended to provide the necessary information and assistance in the mother tongue of the parents.
For adults it is shown which questions arise in families regarding alcohol consumption and how parents can deal with them. The brochure explains the effects of alcohol on the organism and the associated risks. Parents are also given information on where they can get support.
