Health protection is a fundamental right! Nevertheless, many people live without access to the health system.
In May 2021, the clearing house in Hanover was therefore established. People can turn to them if they
- have no health insurance
- have health insurance but cannot claim their benefits,
- live in multi-problem situations and are looking for suitable health care offers.
The employees support the clarification of the above problem situations, accompany, if possible, the way to standard care, support with any transition processes and, if necessary, refer you to a further help system.
Thanks to regional networking with various offers of help, support can be provided more quickly and easily in urgent cases.
The clearing house also works nationwide in networks and working groups on the subject of health care in order to close gaps in the health care of all people in Germany through documentation and evaluation.
The Clearingstelle is a cooperation project of the Diakonisches Werk Hannover and the Caritasverband Hannover e. V. and is funded as a model project by the Hanover region and the state of Lower Saxony.
