What does part-time training mean?

  • The part-time training usually lasts three years
  • The weekly number of hours is about 30 hours
  • The vocational school is attended full-time
  • After passing the final exam, you will receive the same qualification as full-time trainees
  • We accompany you in all training occupations in the dual system

Our training support includes:

  • Socio-educational support: A supportive contact person is available to answer any questions you may have
  • Learning support: Depending on your needs, we offer you lessons and exam preparation
  • Flexible childcare: You can request this from us if your regular childcare is cancelled

Prerequisite for your participation is that you:

  • live on unemployment benefit II or Hartz IV and the job center is responsible for you

  • live in the city or region of Hanover
  • have at least a secondary school leaving certificate
  • have not completed initial training

  • Contents: (professional) orientation and decision-making, application training and internships, looking for an apprenticeship, preparation for training including vocational school
