PRESS RELEASE
The high energy prices and the associated increase in advance payments are causing financial difficulties for many people in the Hanover region. Even those who have not yet received any money from the job center can be entitled to cash benefits due to the high heating costs.

"Supplementary services from the job center can make a difference of several hundred euros," explains Ana Paula Büsse, Deputy Managing Director Job Center Region Hannover. "People with low incomes and families in particular can benefit from the support of the job center if they have high heating bills. In doing so, we are making an important contribution to alleviating social hardship for the people in the Hanover region in these difficult times.”

At the same time, Ana Paula Büsse asks for your understanding for the slightly longer processing times due to the increased number of inquiries and applications. “Our employees are aware of their responsibility and do their utmost to deal with all concerns promptly. It's currently taking a few days longer than usual."

So that the processing is not unnecessarily delayed, the job center asks you to refrain from telephone and personal inquiries about the processing status - at least in the first 14 days.

The application form is on the page www.jobcenter-region-hannover.de/anmeldung available and can be emailed. A personal appointment is not required for this. The job center checks
